Creepy

Awesome! I have been a Poe fan for a long time. This app captures the feel of Poes work perfectly. Great job.

My Introduction

At almost 50, though familiar with the stories, this was my intro to the writing. Ridiculously well-done.

That was amazing!!!

What a great idea to make an interactive ebook! I really enjoyed it - fantastic soundtrack, artwork and design. Looking forward to vol.3

Unsettlingly brilliant!

I was unsure what to expect from this app having not experienced the first one. Now, my morbid curiosity beacons me to purchase and continue this dark world exploration of Poe. Masterfully done!

I want to read this...but

I downloaded this app from the iTunes Store eagerly anticipating the second installment of the iPoe series. I asked myself, "What gothic fun awaits?" Then, as I tried to open the app, I was informed that I needed to download some files before it would open. "No worries," I said to myself, clicking the link to start the update whilst opening a cask of Amontillado to partake in the telltale pleasures of a glass while I descended into the maelstrom. I soon began to rue the morgue-like pace of the update and minutes started to fall and usher in a pit of mystification. Why wouldnt it finish? What a predicament! Patience. VPN. A little diddling. Nothing seemed to work. It would not continue the download or open the app. I began to feel like the man that was used up and then I was hit with a mesmeric revelation. Posting an iPoe app to the iTunes Store that requires an immediate wireless update should get the creators Tarred and Fethered. As a Poe fan, I am disappointed.

Awesome

Well done!

Loved it

It was amazing, the fact that the book was interactive made me read it twice to see what hidden movements I may have missed

Doesnt work

I was very disappointed that this app would not even be able to download this initial files to be able to open on my iphone5. I tried re-installing it but it led to the same issue.

Wickedly awesome!

A very entertaining an frightening app. Great to read and listen along with, the sounds and artwork compliment the story perfectly!

Pure artistry!!

The images, the words, the music... come together to entertain with a certain "frisson"!! Worth the time it takes to download!! Enjoy!! XOXO

Memorable and ghastly!

A fantastic interactive book. Worth purchasing along with Volume 1. My only hope is that the developers keep adding to the series!

Exciting

very enjoyable made reading the stories more entertaining look forward to the next installments

Poe vol.2

Awesome!!!! Love it! Excellent way to read Poe!!!

Best of the VERY BEST!!!

I have never been a follower of poetry and prose, but between Edgar Allen Poes storytelling, and the creativity of this Apps designer....... I cannot put these stories down.....and I want to reread them! The author has me sitting on the edge of my seat, holding my breath, fearful of turning the page.Great work....WELL DONE!

Pure beauty !

These two Ipoe apps are truly a masterpiece of art. I want to thank and to congratulate so much their creators. Its art before being an app. It is not an app about art or an artist. It is art. It is so astonishing to see how every aspects fit together (the style of the drawings, animations, musics, the editing between text and visuals) to create such a moving experience.

iPoe 2

Cool! Some new ones. Never read those before.

iPoe

This app is wonderful! It would be nice if you were able to do more of his short stories. Like "The Cask of Amontillado, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Imp of the Perverse, The Pit and the Pendulum, A Descent into the Maelstrom, The Balloon-Hoax, Ligeia, Berenice, The Fall of the House of Usher and the poems The Bells, Ulalume-A Ballad, Lenore, The Conqueror Worm, Spirits of the Dead, Eldorado, Tamerlane, The City in the Sea. These would be wonderful interactives. Also if you could do some Sherlock Holmes interactive stories that would be great as well!<3
